There will be an informal meeting about sled dog racing Monday, March 15, at 7 p.m. in the Randolph Union High School media center. This meeting is for all businesses, organizations, and individuals that are interested in seeing a sled dog race held in the Randolph area next winter. She started playing when the league was formed in 1977. Parker has been a very dedicated player and also a league officer. Her knowledge of the game has been invaluable to the league. More ... The Whitcomb Student Council will host the eighth annual Alumni Basketball game at the Whitcomb High School gym Friday, March 19 at 6 p.m. Tickets will be sold at the door and there will be a discount if you bring in a non-perishable item for the Student Council Food Drive to benefit the Bethel Food Shelf. More ... Tim Grandy, a 2006 alumnus of Randolph Union High School, was picked as the Player To Watch by CollClub Sports. Grandy attends Virginia Commonwealth University, where he is in his senior year of the biomedical engineering program. This will be Grandy’s fourth year at shortstop for the Rams and his third year as head coach. More ... The public is invited to the second annual faculty/staff vs. student basketball game held at Randolph Union High School on Friday, March 12. This game, sponsored by the Senior High Student Council, is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in the senior high gym.
