STOCKBRIDGE—Andrew Paul Johnston, 5, son of Mike and Kammi Johnston of Stockbridge, died Friday, March 28, 2003, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., after falling through the ice at a pond near his home. He was born Dec. 26, 1997, in Albany, Oregon, where he lived until moving to Stockbridge with his family in August 2001. He was a pre-kindergarten student at the Stockbridge Central Elementary School. He attended Faith Assembly of God in Bethel and had attended First Assembly of God in Albany, Oregon. He loved swimming, dinosaurs, building things, playing with his dog, "Tucker," looking for worms, and sharing things with others. Survivors include his parents of Stockbridge, his brothers, Aaron and Joshua, and his sister, Stephanie, all at home; grandparents, Terry and Susan Lais and Gary and Janet Johnston, all of Albany, Oregon; great-grandparents, Erman and Erma Johnston of Albany, Oregon; Geraldine Glade of Mandan, N.D., and Mildred Lais of Carmichael, Calif. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 4, at 11 a.m. at the Beth-el Fellowship in South Royalton, with Pastor Scott Carlson officiating. Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Day Funeral Home in Randolph. A memorial service will be held in June at the First Assembly of God Church in Albany, Oregon.
