Robert B. Magee

EUSTIS, FLA.—Robert "Bob" Boyd Magee, 90, formerly of Randolph, died Feb. 7, 2006.

Born in Salem, Mass.; he became a class-A PGA golf professional before serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He moved to Randolph in 1946, where he married Roberta Bruce and subsequently established Magee Office Equipment in 1949, which is still in operation. He retired in 1963 and moved to Central Florida.

He was predeceased by two wives, Roberta Bruce Magee and Natalie Reed Magee.

Survivors include a son, Robert "Ridge" Magee; and a daughter, Christie Schultz, both of Florida; a stepson, Bruce Fernande, of Connecticut; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Lake and Sumter, 12300 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, Fla. 32778.

The Steverson-Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home in Tavares, Fla. is in charge of arrangements.
