Band Plays Tonite

Thank you for making note of the various area concerts by the Jugendkapelle Prutz, or, in English, the youth band from Prutz, Austria which is touring the central Vermont & Upper Valley area this week.

Their concerts offer real foot-tapping music, including oom pa pa, Sousa marches, pop selections, traditional Austrian, and American music.

Their only Randolph performance will be on the lawn in front of the Municipal Building at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 29. This is a benefit concert sponsored by St John’s Church in support of REECH, the Randolph Ecumenical Emergency Committee on Housing.

It’s a great opportunity for kids to hear an excellent band and wind ensemble. Also, the drumming is terrific!

Bring chairs if you plan to attend.
