Legion Post 51
Opens Season

The Legion Post 51 baseball team of South Royalton has opened their season. The home games will be held in Bethel this year due to extensive field work being done to the South Royalton field. The head coaches this year are Jim Ballou and Marty Adams. Post 51 lost a close game Tuesday, 9-8 to Hartford. SoRo led 4-0 before falling behind.

The players on the team are: John Moore, Trevor Webster, Dale Manning, Sean Davis, Devin Cilley and Nevin Fulcher. Tyrell Manning is also on the team as are Jordan White, Ted Mills, Jeff Washburn, Nick Swim, Asa Manning and Miles Ellis. Rounding out the team are Nate McShinsky, Dustin Parker, Tarkin Clark, Cody Welch, and Casey Levin.
