Caribbean Steel Drums, Bagpipes & More in Sharon

The Vermont Independent School of the Arts has openings for the fall in its youth steel drum band, "Pantoons" The group is for students in grades 6-9 and no experience is required. The band meets Mondays from 5-6 p.m. at the 7 Stars Center in Sharon starting Monday, Sept. 11.

There are also some openings in the adult group "Steel Crazy (after all these years)" which meets Thursdays from 5:30-7 p.m. starting Thursday, Sept. 7.
