•Food and Garden Vegetable Sale to benefit the Strafford Senior Center, with baked goods, pickles, jams and jellies, and locally grown veggies and flowers; 9 a.m.-12 noon on the porch at Coburn’s Store, So. Strafford.

Sunday, Sept. 3

•New World Festival, featuring 50 performers of Northern Roots music from New England, Ireland, France, Scotland, Scandinavia, Cape Breton, Acadia, and Quebec and on five stages, plus dance tent, beer tent, food, crafts, and more; 12 noon-midnight, Main Street, Randolph. Tickets sold on-site, free parking and shuttle, an all-weather accessible event. Sorry, no dogs allowed. Proceeds benefit children’s programs of the Chandler Cultural Foundation.

Monday, Sept. 4
