Frank H. Locke

BETHEL–Frank H. Locke, 58, died Friday, August 25, 2006 at Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland.

He was born March 19, 1948 in Randolph, the son of Henry and Ruth (Labor) Locke.

He attended New Hampshire and Vermont schools. He married Dona Lee Sawyer December 16, 1965 in W. Hartford. He worked for the State of Vermont Highway Dept. for many years. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, watching action and wildlife movies. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Dona Lee Locke of Bethel; two sons: Norman Locke and his wife, Amadee, of South Royalton; and Randy Locke and his wife, Aimee, of Stockbridge; two brothers, William Locke of Colorado and Robert Locke of Georgia; four sisters: Lorraine Hyatt of New York, Loretta Grover of New Hampshire, Elaine LaPlante of Graniteville and Patricia Mohan of Bethel; 10 grandchildren: Nathan, Jordan, Jacob, Tyler, Dalton, Cheyenna, Kaleb, Randi-Jo, Laura Jean and Anthony Locke; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, a son, Frank Locke, Jr.; and a grandson, Matthew Locke.

At his request, there ae no scheduled services.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Day Funeral Home of Randolph.
