Hires Director
Of Development

The Sharon Academy (TSA) has hired Robin Caissie to serve as its first director of development.

"This step is crucial for The Sharon Academy to move forward," according to TSA head of school Michael Livingston. "We have managed to stay true to our founding vision, offering small class size and overall school population. We have always needed to fundraise to keep our doors open, and hiring Robin is a logical next step."

The school’s current construction project, including a new science lab, classroom space, and a large meeting area, was funded by private donations.

Caissie comes to TSA from her most recent job as the Vermont development director for The Trust for Public Land in Montpelier. Prior to that, she worked at both Dartmouth College and Vermont Law School in development-related activities.

"I have lived in the Sharon area for more than 10 years, and I know the impact this school has had not only on its students, but also the families and the community at large," Caissie said. "I am looking forward to building and cultivating relationships between area residents and the school."
