Randolph Boys Go 1-1
By David Cooch

Last week on Thursday the Randolph boys had a rematch of their season opener against Northfield. Randolph came out slow and the Marauders were in control of the game in the first half. Two goals were scored by the Marauders in less than 10 minutes. Towards the end of the half, RUHS Ghost Kyle Connolly put in a shot assisted by a cross from Jon White, getting Randolph to within one.

In the second half Randolph did not have what it took to come back and lost the game 3-1.

Saturday the Ghosts hosted Lyndon and had better fortune. The game started out with a few dangerous Lyndon possessions, but Randolph picked it up and became the dominant team on the field.

During the middle of the second half Thomas Jacobs put in the first and only goal off a free kick. Throughout the game Randolph had many chances that they were unable to convert on.

After 6 games the boys are 2-2-2, the JV team is 2-3-1. The Ghosts went to Lake Region Wednesday, host Stowe on Friday, and also host Montpelier on Tuesday
