Is ‘Round Barn’ Artist

Randolph artist Bonny Willett is exhibiting three bronzes and two stone sculptures in the juried "Art in the Round Barn" exhibition, which opened Sunday in Waitsfield.

This large show of artists is sponsored by the Green Mountain Cultural Center in collaboration with the Inn at the Round Barn Farm.

Willett noted that her cast bronze works, including the 15-inch-long sculpture pictured above, are made using the "lost wax" process and require many steps. She managed to complete the pieces, despite a serious wrist injury early in the summer.

The Inn at the Round Barn Farm is located on the East Warren Road, east of Route 100. The exhibit is open most days 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m, though October 9. Call 496-7722 to confirm hours.
