I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate two organizations for showing exemplary care for this community. First is Gifford hospital for providing the town with a badly-needed sidewalk that improves both safety and aesthetics on Hospital Hill. Second is the Clara Martin Center for taking care of their historic home on Highland Avenue. Doing a fresh paint job in a beautiful color instead of letting the paint peel or adding siding shows their respect for the neighborhood and our history. Most importantly, it tells the residents how valuable they are. We are fortunate to have these organizations and the expansive view they take of our community's well-being.
