An Honest Guy

At a time when corruption and scandal seem rife in our national politics, we are lucky to live in a state where politics is generally honest.

We have an excellent example in Senator Mark MacDonald. Mark is both honest and hard working. We know him as a farmer and an educator in our Randolph public schools. We have known him a long time, well enough to know even his shortcomings. But with Mark, you get what you see and what you see is a track record that is good for Randolph, Orange County, and Vermont.

Come to think of it, luck has nothing to do with the fact that we live in a place where politics is generally honest. The reality is that politics in Vermont are honest because we elect honest people like Mark to office. Let’s do it again.
