NORTHFIELD—Wilson W. Chamberlin, 66, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. with his family at his side. He was born in Randolph, March 2, 1940, the son of Allen and Shirley (Edwards) Cham-berlin. He was a graduate of Northfield High School, Class of 1958. He married Linda Knowles June 25, 1960 at the United Church of Northfield. He logged and owned and operated a saw mill his entire n career. He also owned and operated W. P. Engines in North-field, with his son, Philip. He loved the outdoors and fishing. He especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s and nephews’ basketball and hockey games. Survivors include his wife, Linda Chamberlin of Northfield; two children, Penny and Philip Chamberlin, both of Northfield; six brothers: Allen, Jr. "Joe," Russell, Darrell, Randall, and Jay, all of Northfield; and Stanton of New Hampshire; two sisters, Patricia of Roxbury and Phyllis of Montpelier; three grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Cody Chamberlin and Erik Christensen; and many nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A gathering celebrating his life will be held Sunday, Dec. 3 from 1-5 p.m. at the Northfield Senior Center on Wall Street in North-field. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice, 600 Granger Rd., Berlin, Vt. 05641. The Kingston Funeral Home in Northfield assisted in the arrangements. ____________ |
