Remer Taylor III WILDER—Remer Howard Taylor III, 36, died suddenly Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 of a heart attack. He was born June 19, 1970 in Randolph. He grew up in Orlando, Fla. and Randolph, and graduated from Randolph Union High School in 1988. He joined the US Army and served in the military for eight years, including a tour in South Korea. It was in Korea that he crushed his ankle and was given a medical discharge. As a disabled veteran, he returned to Vermont and worked at Dartmouth College and most recently at Jiffy Lube in West Lebanon. As a teenager he gained the name of "Screamin’ Remer" and that is how he lived life; on the go, never wanting to stand or stay in any one place for long. He loved hunting, fishing, and NASCAR and was an avid video game player. Survivors include his wife, Sara and their unborn child and a son, Slater, of Wilder; a son, Christian, of Minnesota; his parents, Sue and Ralph Barrett of Wilder; a sister, Robin Messier of West Brookfield; two brothers, Wayne Barrett of Hartland and Chad Barrett of Northfield; nephews Daniel Messier II of Randolph and Murray Barrett of Philadelphia, nieces Samantha Messier, Kayla and Mariah. as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Remer H. Taylor II, who died of cancer. Memorial donations can be made to the Norris Cotton Cancer Center, One Medical Center Drive, Lebanon N.H. 03756 A funeral service was held Tuesday, Nov. 21 at the First Baptist Church of Lebanon, with Rev. Dale Edwards officiating. A private burial will take place at a later time. Arrangements are by Ricker Funeral Home of Lebanon, N.H. ____________ |
