Burak Photography on Display
At Gifford Medical Center

A selection of photographer Eli Burak’s recent works is now on display in the Gifford Medical Center Art Gallery.

Burak, who lives in Windsor, is a landscape and wedding photographer, who grew up in Bennington and graduated from Dartmouth College in 2000. His impressive landscapes include views of New England, the western states and Armenia, where he has traveled.

Burak says his photographs capture "not only the beauty of the environment, but also the emotion I feel while experiencing that natural beauty." His goal is to share that emotion with others.

"I hope that these photographs will remind people of the special places that exist both in our back yard and across the world," Burak says. "Whether you are moved by a frost covered leaf or a large mountain vista, it is the resonance of the landscape in one’s mind that will inspire appreciation of the world around us and it is this appreciation that is necessary before any meaningful action can be taken to preserve our world for generations to come."

His work can be viewed electronically at www.eliburak.com. Gifford Medical Center is on South Main Street (Route 12) in Randolph. The Gallery is easily accessible through the main entrance. Burak’s show, which is free and open to the public, remains on display until Jan. 15.
