They were act-ive members of Bethany United Church of Christ in Randolph, and she also was a founding officer of the former Randolph Women’s Club. For many years, she and her sister did back-yard sugaring at her home on Fish Hill Road, thanks to her older brother, who built a sugar hut and evaporator, and cut wood in his retirement. She ad her sister were also weekly summer vendors at the Randolph Farmers Market for 23 years. She was well known for her Swedish baking. During the winters she made many mittens for the hospital thrift store. After the last five years at Windover Residential Care Home in Randolph, she moved to Brookside in early November. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Martha; three brothers: Sigvard, Lennart and Arthur Johnson; a nephew, Armand Johnson; and a niece’s husband, Donald Blank. Survivors include a sister, Evelyn Johnson of Sharon; and her nieces and nephews, Elaine Blank of Bristol, Conn.; Christine Sullivan and husband, William of Portland, Conn.; Louise Pouss and husband, William of Cleona, Pen-na.; Gail Maziarz and husband, Tom, of Windsor, Conn.; Lois Semrau and husband, William, of Exeter, N.H.; Mary Jane Johnson, widow of Armand; Roy Johnson and wife, Patricia, of Granby, Conn.; Carl Johnson of Wethersfield, Conn., who has looked after her financial and living needs; his special friend, Linda; and many relatives in Sweden.
