Juanita Cintron

RANDOLPH CENTER—Juanita Cintron, 92, of Randolph Center, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at Mayo Health Care in Northfield.

She was born May 14, 1914, in Puerto Rico, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Burgos.

Juanita was raised in and attended schools in Puerto Rico. She came to New York City at the age of 16. She was married to Carlos Cintron in 1935 in New York City. Mr. Cintron died in 1971.

Juanita had worked at several jobs, including owning and operating a family grocery store in New York. She was a loving and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Charles Cintron of Randolph Center; her daughter, Gloria Girard of Monroe Township, N.J.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Private family services were held in New Jersey.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Day Funeral Home, Randolph.
