ReminiscesWhen the 2007-2008 Vermont legislative session begins on January 3 with the swearing in of newly elected members my term of office will end and I wish to thank my constituents from Norwich, Royalton, Sharon, Strafford and Thetford for electing me to represent them since 1988.

I think about all the times you have welcomed me into your homes, called, wrote and talked with me about your concerns on the street, in the store, Post Office, the town hall, the school or at the dump, the Fair, the Grange or the Farmers’ Market.

It has been my pleasure to meet you, talk with you and get to know you and it has been my honor and my privilege to represent you in Montpelier. For what I have been able to contribute I have learned and gained ten fold from your kindness and wisdom and I will be forever grateful.
