Evelyn R. Nichols

RANDOLPH–Evelyn R. Nichols, 69, of Randolph, died early Sunday morning, Jan. 7, 2007 at Mayo Health Care in Northfield.

She was born April 30, 1937 in Braintree, the daughter of William and Carrie (Goodell) Russell. She graduated for Randolph High School and was a lifetime area resident. She had worked for Waterbury Companies for 40 years, and enjoyed reading, country western music and baby sitting for her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Diana Tilton of Braintree and Robin Thurston of Randolph; a sister, Irene Winters of Hinesburg; and six grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Day Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald E. Rilling officiating. There are no calling hours.
