Ralph C. Bolio

WEST TOPHSHAM—Ralph "Uncle Ralph" C. Bolio, 59, of West Topsham, died Sunday morning, Jan. 14, 2007 in Corinth Corners.

He was born July 18, 1947 in Randolph; the son of Saywood and Amy (Wade) Bolio. He was raised in Hancock, attended Rochester High School, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He had lived in Granville and moved to West Topsham in 1980.

He married Diana Beane on September 12, 1998 in East Orange. He had worked for McConald Construction in Burlington, and Duranleau Construction in Washington, (Vt.) He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and helping his neighbors.

Survivors include his wife Diana of West Topsham and a brother, Ronald Bolio of Alabama.

He was predeceased by his brother, Albert Bolio.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 21 at 2 p.m. at the East Orange Congregational Church. Calling hours will be from 12:30- 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial with full military honors will be in May at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Rochester.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice, 600 Granger Road, Barre, Vt. 05641. Arrangements are by the Day Funeral Home in Randolph.
