‘Marko the Magician’ Returning to Chandler
Vermont’s quintessential magician, Marko, will return to Chandler Music Hall to puzzle, dumbfound, and delight moms, dads, kids, grandparents, and aunts and uncles alike Friday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. Marko the Magician became interested in magic at the early age of six. At nine he began performing for family, friends, neighbors and just about anyone who would watch. He performed magic through high school and college, where he received a B.A. in marketing and speech. He now performs throughout the state, in theaters, schools, restaurants, and for corporations and trade shows. Marko’s shows are designed for fun. What makes his shows so special is his ability to mystify, entertain, and make everyone laugh on different levels at the same time. He loves nothing better than seeing everyone having a wonderful time together, as his magic transcends all age, ethnic, economic, and social barriers, bringing people together in a common state of amazement and laughter. Marko is well known for his close-up techniques using cards, coins, ropes, and other small items. There will be plenty of opportunities for volunteer audience participation. He makes sure no one is embarrassed or compromised and believes that the participants in his shows are the stars and he makes them shine. General admission tickets are available by calling the box office at 728-6464, weekdays between 3-6 p.m., or online at tickets@chandler-arts.org. This performance is presented by Chandler Center for the Arts and sponsored by Randolph restaurant, Patrick's Place. Chandler Music Hall is wheelchair accessible. ____________ |
