To 250 Hearing

Regarding the reopening of the gravel pit south of Rochester, elsewhere called the "strip mine," I would like to say that I look forward to the Act 250 review meetings on Feb. 13.

We want this work to be a reasonable fit with the community and believe that the best way for that to be decided is after an informed public debate.

I sincerely hope that all parties will come to the meeting, and the site inspection which takes place earlier that morning, with open minds, ask challenging questions, and, upon hearing all the information, make a fully informed decision about this project.
