News of Area Students

Sandy L. Gates, a graduate of Whitcomb High School in Bethel, is participating in St. Lawrence University’s international study program for the spring semester. A member of the SLU Class of 2009, she is studying in Kenya.

Kevin Currier, son of David and Joanne Currier of Randolph Center, was named to the Dean’s list for the fall semester at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, where he is a freshman majoring in marine biology.

Abigail Keturah Swan, daughter of Esther Mears of Randolph, was named to the Dean’s List last semester at Bay Path College in Longmeadow, Mass. A member of the Class of 2009, she is enrolled in the psychology program.

Kaleena Ann Hardy, daughter of Matt and Zo Hardy of Randolph, was named to the Dean’s List last semester at Bay Path College, and was elected to the Maroon Key Honor Society. Maroon Key membership is achieved by students who have made the Dean’s List for four semesters. A member of the Class of 2007, she is enrolled in the interior design program.

Emily Crosby, daughter of Dave and Sarah Crosby of Randolph, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y. A 2004 graduate of RUHS, she is working toward a degree in technical theater.

Sara Werner of Granville was named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at Champlain College in Burlington, where she is enrolled in Champlain's Mass Communication program.
