RUHS Ghost Boys Drop Two

     The Randolph boys’ basketball team lost to Lyndon away last Friday, 64-41. They also lost a hard-fought match-up against Harwood at home on Monday, 44-31, a vast improvement over the 76-39 beating the Ghosts took earlier in the season against Harwood.

Busy Schedule For Lady Hornets

     Less than 24 hours after the Hornets dispatched the Rockettes back to Rochester with a one point defeat and only their second loss of the season, Whitcomb hopped on the bus for a make-up game against the Red Devils in Chelsea.

Area Junior High Tourney

     The annual Whitcomb Hornet Junior High School Invitational Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 14, Thursday, Feb. 15 and Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Hornet’s Nest gymnasium in Bethel.

RUHS Wrestlers Place Well At NVACs

     Last weekend the Randolph Ghosts traveled to Vergennes for the annual Northern Vermont Athletic Conference. Randolph, traveling with only seven wrestlers, placed fourth out of 16 teams. Randolph finished the day with six place finishers.

Whitcomb Boys Win

     "Good things come to those who wait" and the wait is finally over as the Whitcomb Hornets earned their first win of the season with a 12 point advantage victory over the Cabot Huskies last Wednesday, Feb. 7 at home.

Chelsea Boys Win Two

     Coming off from a win the night before over Sharon, 48-37, the Chelsea Devils traveled to Division III power house Rivendell. Tough defense led the teams into the half with an 18-16 score, Chelsea down by two.

Chelsea Girls Wrap It Up

     The Chelsea Red Devil girls team hosted Whitcomb the day after a game against Twinfield on Wednesday the 7th. With both teams coming off tough games the previous night, the game took a slow pace with little scoring.

Red Devils Ruffle Phoenix

     Sharon had a rough night when the Chelsea boys, a team they had previously beaten this season, left triumphant from their home turf. From the beginning Chelsea came out with fire and set the tone for the game, one which Sharon just could not keep up with.
