Red Devils Ruffle Phoenix
By Jeanelle Achee

Sharon had a rough night when the Chelsea boys, a team they had previously beaten this season, left triumphant from their home turf. From the beginning Chelsea came out with fire and set the tone for the game, one which Sharon just could not keep up with. As Coach Kevin Ellis reflected on the game, "It was a wake up call."

By half time, Chelsea had 21 points, with Sharon trying to keep up with 19. As the game continued, it was obvious that Sharon was just paying a game of follow the leader. Although the boys did put up a fight with Tobin Crig-Huntley, Sharon’s top scorer of the night with 12 points, and Phineas Ellis fouling out trying to keep the team afloat, Chelsea still came out on top.

Jordan Lyford of the Devils scored 16 points, over a third of his team’s total points.
