The Randolph Gal Ghosts finished their regular season with a 7-13 record. This earned them a #14 seed in Division II. The Gal Ghosts played the #3 Montpelier Solons in Montpelier on Wednesday. Montpelier’s record is 14-6. The story will be in next week’s Herald. If Randolph wins they will play Saturday, Feb. 24 at 2:00 p.m. versus the winner of the Milton/ Springfield contest. The Gal Ghosts have seven seniors on their squad this year and are coached by Alan Stewart. If Randolph can stay healthy they have pretty even scoring throughout the team and get good rebounding from three or four players. Randolph lost to Montpelier twice during the regular season, but one loss was by two points and the other game was just as close until the middle of the fourth quarter. ____________ |
