Cockburn To Return

Eight years ago Chandler Center for the Arts announced the surprise concert of Canadian singer/songwriter Bruce Cockburn, and it turned out to be a blockbuster.

Enthusiasts traveled from as far away as New York, New Jersey, Utah, and Virginia, despite a huge blizzard.

It's happening again. Cockburn is a late addition to the 2007 season, presenting a solo acoustic evening at Chandler Music Hall on Saturday, March 24, beginining at 7:30.

At his fingertips will be songs from his newly released album, "Life Short Call Now," a recording that includes poignant reminiscences from a 2004 trip to Baghdad.
