To the Coach

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the coach and teacher who reported the two basketball players for possession of alcohol. Instead of looking the other way you both showed integrity and made the correct decision according to the policies and procedures of the Rochester school system.

It is not the most pleasant part of a coach’s job or a teacher’s job to enforce rules but it is a part of your obligations. The administration and school board should be thanking you for a job well done.

As a former coach, at present a part-time faculty member, and a full-time tax payer I do appreciate your efforts. You both have my thanks and gratitude.
