News of Area Students

Emily Crosby of Randolph was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at Wagner College in Staten island, N.Y.

Tara E. Lowell of South Royalton was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y., where she is a senior majoring in Neuroscience, with minors in mathematics and chemistry. At St. Lawrence, she is a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa honorary and Beta Beta Beta (biology), and participates in outdoor track and indoor track.

Rachel Miller, daughter of Albert and Rebecca Miller of Braintree, has been selected from nominees submitted by the faculty to be a writing center coach at Saint Michael’s College in Colchester. A graduate of RUHS. Miller is a junior at Saint Michael’s, majoring in English literature.

Jordan Collette, son of Jay and Donna Collette of Randolph, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall trimester at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I., while doing a five-month study abroad at InHolland University, in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. A 2003 graduate of Randolph Union High School, he is a senior majoring in International Business.

Emily Anne Ellis, daughter of Ann Greenawalt and Davis Ellis of South Royalton, was named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester at the State University of New York College at Cortland. A 2006 graduate of South Royalton High School, she danced three roles in "The Nutcracker" ballet in December at SUNY Cortland.
