In the Rochester boys’ second game versus the Hornets and the last game before the playoffs, the Rockets were really looking for the win. With the help of Pat Crowley and an overall good team effort, they got one. Crowley had a great game, putting up 15 points to lead the team. Brian Dunbar had 13, Dusty Roberts with nine, and Alex Kelly with seven. Witcomb’s leading scorers were Cody Griffin and Deven Hill who both tallied 10. This was Rochester’s last game before the playoffs, so congratulations to the three seniors on a great season and great careers. The Rockets’ playoffs began at TSA. TSA Knocks out Rockets TSA beat the Rockets for the third time this year as they knocked Rochester out of the hunt for a championship. Though the Rockets played great defense for most of the game, TSA was able to find some offense in the second quarter as they outscored Rochester 19-6. Sharon’s defense was able to hold Rochester’s two top scorers to a combined seven points. Richard Gaboury was the Rockets leading scorer with eight, Crowley had six. Evan Frank led TSA as he exploded for 17 points including a 10-point second quarter. ____________ |
