World Water Day Concert
Features Randolph's Ryerson

America's first celebration of World Water Day tonight will feature Randolph's Marjorie Ryerson, Vermont pianist Michael Arnowitt, and two-time Grammy winner, Native American flutist Mary Youngblood as the three featured concert performers.

Though the event itself is in Florida, folks here can actually see the concert on the web, but they have to get a password before the concert. To get a password, log onto:

Ryerson's concert will start some time between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. following a lecture by water author Sandra Postel and panel discussion by leading environmentalists, which starts at 7 p.m.

Ryerson was invited for the event beause of the success of her book, "Water Music," that matches her water photographs with writing by world artists from all genres. Since the publication of the book, she has participated in or created water celebrations in many locations, raising money for a United Nations fund for water.
