Chelsea Basketball Awards

On Thursday, March 22, the Chelsea basketball teams hosted their annual awards night. Girls’ varsity basketball coach John Parker presented three awards to seniors Lindsey Smith, Mary Childs and Jill Cray. Smith received an "Unsung Hero" award, Childs received an "MVP" award and Cray received a "Most Improved" award. They all received a senior award as well. Robyn Kennedy was selected for the girls’ CVL second team.

Boys’ varsity basketball coach Mike McCullough awarded Jesse Blondin and Brandon Emery the "Coaches" award. Nate Dowlin received the "Most Improved Player" and Zeb Allen received an "Outstanding Player" award. All the Chelsea basketball seniors received a senior award. The graduating seniors for the boys are Allen, Blondin, Albert Childs, Dowlin, Emery, Calvin Hoyt and Sean McCarthy. Allen was selected for the second CVL boys basketball team and made the Vermont All Star Team. Emery also made the Vermont All Star Team. Blondin received a CVL honorable mention.
