A Feeble Effort

At Governor Douglas’ ap-pearance at the Bethel breakfast, the governor noted his satisfaction with Catamount Health.

Here’s a man who’s been on the Vermont dole for his entire working life, enjoying the best health care money (our money) can buy while thousands of Vermonters lacking adequate, or any, health care are supposed to thank him for Catamount Health.

That legislation scuttles any meaningful attempt at health care reform for at least 10 years and continues to benefit fat-cat insurance companies. All friends of our governor.

It will be a good day when Douglas either decides to run for higher office, or better yet, when Vermonters recognize his lack of accomplishment and vote him out of office.
