Eager to be in front of the home crowd again, Randolph posted a 12-4 win over Lamoille last Thursday. The Ghosts came out strong and held a 6-0 lead a half time. Excellent defense played by Hannah Scott helped keep Lamoille at only four goals, the last of which was scored in the remaining 13 seconds. Goals were scored by Shelby Peltier with six and one assist, Kelsey Inzer wit three goals and one assist, Brynn Fabian with two goals, Brook Sargeant with a goal, and Abby Peltier aiding with five assists. Erica Weber ended the game with ten saves. Sharon Academy In summer-like heat no team yet had experienced, the Gal Ghosts defeated Sharon Academy 17-5 in one of their most anticipated games of the season. Randolph came out strong with a goal for Sargeant in the first ten seconds an assist from S. Peltier. After the first goal was scored, the game was slow with Randolph ahead 3-2, but the Ghosts puled ahead scoring five goals to led 8-3 at half time. Inzer scored the eighth goal at the buzzer of another assist from S. Peltier. Sergeant ended the game with two goals, S. Peltier had five goals and three assists, Fabian had four goals and one assist., A. Peltier had a goal and an assist and Erika Smith tallied the other goal. Scott, Molly Harrness and Heather Surprenant each played an excellent defensive game, holding TSA to five goals. Weber finished with 15 saves. ____________ |
