Renovations, Plans on Display
At VTISA Open House May 20

The Vermont Independent School of the Arts (VTISA) will host an open house on Sunday, May 20, 2-5 p.m., at the 7 Stars Center in Sharon.

After five years of renting the 7 Stars Center, VTISA obtained the property in December. Since then, efforts have been underway to repair and restore parts of the interior of the building.

In preparation of this event, volunteers have spent more than 200 hours painting, cleaning, and repairing the space.

At this event, details will be available about VTISA's upcoming Summer Arts workshop series, featuring Tracy Penfield, Beth Telford, Sarah Blair, Dan Weiser from Classicopia, Kimberly Hackett and others.

Visitors can learn about plans to collaborate with other area non-profits, and to continue renovations to the building, while enjoying refreshments and entertainment.
