BRANDON—Phyllis Marilyn Browe, 55, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at the home of her care provider in Leicester Junction. She was born in Randolph, April 1, 1951, the daughter of Albert and Ruth (Kirkpatrick) Fielders. She received her early education in local Randolph schools and graduated from Randolph High School in 1969. Following graduation, she moved to Brandon and began work as a nurse’s aide at the old Brandon Training School. In 1981, she began working with the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse’ Association, retiring due to illness in 1999. She belonged to The Brandon Congregational Church. Survivors include a son, Brian Lamica of Florence; a daughter, Deborah Lamica of Brandon; two brothers, Ross Fielders of South Hero and William Fielders of Goose Creek, S.C.; two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and her care provider, Crystal Sears of Leicester Jct. A memorial service was held Saturday, May 12 at the Brandon Congregational Church, with Rev. Richard White officiating. Following the service, the family received friends in the church hall. A private burial will take place in Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandon. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Rutland Area Visiting Nurse & Hospice, 7 Albert Cree Drive, Rutland, Vt. 05701. Arrangements are under the direction of The Miller & Ketcham Funeral Home in Brandon. ____________ |
