Rochester Will Re-Vote
Same School Budget

Two articles regarding the Rochester School district will face Rochester voters on Monday, June 18.

The articles up for consideration at the town-wide meeting will be just as they appeared in the petition signed by 79 voters.

Article 1. Shall the voters of the Rochester Town School District vote to reconsider the budget voted as Article 8 at the Monday, May 7, 2007 Annual School Meeting? (If Article 1 fails to pass, the meeting is over.)

Article 2. To see if the town School District will appropriate a sum of money to operate the school for the 2007-08 school year. Recommended: $3,233,864.

The recommended figure is the same one recommended by the school board and passed at the May 7 meeting."
