Chandler Youth Show This Fall

A new youth production is in the works at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph.

"You Gotta Have a Dream" will feature a collection of original songs, dance and skits performed by area youth and teens. The production will be directed by Patty Akley Warlick, with musical direction by Susan Rule, and produced by Betsy Cantlin.

Rehearsals will be held at Chandler beginning Sunday, Sept. 9 and youths ages 7-18 are encouraged to participate. Rehearsal times for elementary students will be Sundays from 6-7 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:30-7:15 p.m. Junior high and high school students will rehearse Sundays from 7-8:15 p.m. and Thursdays from 7:15-8 p.m. There is a registration fee and financial assistance is available.

Performers will share their work in three stage shows; one for the Arts in the Schools series on Friday, Oct. 26 at 9:30 a.m., and public performances Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. at Chandler Music Hall.
