In Whitney Case

It is hard for me to believe that our Police Department would single out a man as Ms. Jarvis has determined (letter, 6/7). There is a reason that you see Harvey’s name in the paper so often and it is not because of our police force.

I’m sure, the last thing that the Randolph Police want to do is scuffle with Harvey Whitney. The next time you see his name in the paper, don’t be so quick as to accuse our Police Dept. of "singling out." It is most likely because he brought it on himself.

After all, who are you most likely to believe, the likes of Harvey Whitney or The Randolph Police Dept?
