The storm on Tuesday, June 5 let up just in time for South Royalton and Hazen to play the game that had been cancelled on Monday due to the weather. The game started off slowly, with a couple of hits, but no runs scored by either team for the first few innings.

SoRo had seven hits in total, third baseman Logan Russell had two hits, three RBIs, a triple and a double. Pitcher Emily Brock also had two extremely good hits. In addition to playing well offensively, Brock also had an exceptional defensive game. She only gave up one earned hit, which was the first one since the game against Whitcomb in Bethel. South Royalton beat Hazen 5-0.

Unfortunately the Lady Royals lost in the semi-finals versus Enosburg away last Wednesday, June 6.
