Wet weather is no problem for players in the Bethel’s Mountain Softball League, as this photo proves.

After a series of thunbderstorms and wild winds, the field got, well, a little damp last Wednesday at the game between the Young Guns and the Ball Busters.

Softball and baseball leagues of varying degrees of formality are part of the summer’s activities throughout the White River Valley.
