     Montpelier’s American Legion Post #3 baseball team ended the season with wins via the 10-run rule against South Royalton, 11-0, and Franklin, 15-3. They lost at Essex, 7-6, in the last game of the season.

Randolph Tennis Teams Begin
Semi-Finals, Tension Builds
     The Ad-outs will be playing either the Nettles or Court Jesters next Thursday, Aug. 9, for the Randolph Tennis Team Championship. Mike Scoppe's Ad-outs eked out a 2-1 victory over Christy Fry's Unforced Errors of the Universe Tuesday evening.
