For many years, legislation has been proposed to get or keep spent tires out of our woods and rivers. As members of the House Fish, Wildlife and Water Resources Committee, we seek to determine the scope of the problem. If anyone sees spent tires in the woods and rivers, please tell us and, if possible, send us a picture. Please describe whether such tires are being picked up and, if so, by whom and how.
