Anichini Makes ‘Inc.’ List

Of 500 Fast-Growing Firms

Inc. Magazine this week ranked the Tunbridge company Anichini number 3,624 on its first-ever "Inc. 5,000" list of the fastest-growing private companies in the country.

The "Inc. 5,000," an extension of the magazine’s annual "Inc. 500" list, catches many businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500, as well as a host of smaller firms.

"Taken as a whole, these companies represent the backbone of the U.S. economy," the magazine said.

Anichini, the luxury linen and textile company, was founded 20 years ago by Susan Dollenmaier, with a capital investment of $600. The company, based in Tunbridge, is comprised of its wholesale, retail and hospitality divisions, serving five continents.

"Renowned for attention to detail, quality of craftsmanship, and ageless style, the Anichini brand is synonymous with confident luxury," the magazine release said.

"Generational artisans using rare materials, create limited edition pieces for the Anichini Collection. The breadth of product offerings and depth of color pallet set the Collection apart from all the rest.

After 20 years, a Vermont-based, women-owned company has established itself as the leading luxury textile company in a global market.
