Couple Charged

On Aug. 30, State Police found a missing 14-year-old juvenile at the West Brookfield residence of Ricky H. Dodge, 38, and Bonnie Lesieur, 39.

Police reported that at around midnight on Aug. 30, they received a call from a Brookfield woman who said her son was missing. She told police that she was "very concerned" that her son was with Dodge.

Police did not find Dodge at his last known residence, but a few hours later their search led them to a residence on Steele Hill Road, where Dodge and Lesieur were found.

The couple stated that they had not seen the boy, but consented to a search of the premises. Police at first could not locate the boy but "further investigation revealed that the juvenile was hiding in a pull-out couch," the police reported..

Lesieur and Dodge were charged with second degree unlawful restraint and cited to appear in Orange District Court on Aug. 31. Dodge was lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility for lack of bail.

Police said they also found a misdemeanor amount of marijuana on Dodge’s person and he was also charged with possession.
