Rockettes
Have Spirit
By Lauren Pratt

Every day that the Rochester girls have a game, they have "team spirit day," and all dress accordingly. The Rockettes have had gangsters day, a white tee day, a red day, an ‘80s day, and a country day. It shows that we’re part of a team and that we can have fun while showing that.

On Friday’s game against Blue Mountain, Rochester played an intense game at home. Junior Krystal Bowen scored with 35 minutes left in the game and was assisted by sophomore Caitlin Cutting. Blue Mountain’s Marissa Gagnon scored 20 minutes after that. Getting close to the end of the half, freshman Daley Crowley put one in after a bunch of other Rochester shots wouldn’t go in.

After the half, Natalie Page of Blue Mountain scored within two minutes. With the score evened up with only three minutes left Page put another one in to bring Blue Mountain ahead 3-2. Rochester couldn’t pull back and left the final score in Blue Mountain’s favor.

Travel to Twinfield

On Monday, the Rockets headed off to play Twinfield. After finally getting there, they got off to a rough start.

Twinfield scored first in the game. The goal was made by Betsy Martin. However, after that, Cutting had an amazing goal assisted by Bowen. That was it for the first half.

Ten minutes into the second half Cutting scored again with an assist from Crowley. That goal was Cutting’s 15th of the season.
