Over the Bridge

This is in regards to last week’s letter to the editor regarding the traffic delays.

What do you expect is going to happen when you’re rebuilding a bridge, a major artery in and out of our town? OF COURSE there will be delays; yes some are significant, some are not, and yes it’s really an inconvenience when you are scheduled to be somewhere.

But I do not believe that these delays are "hurting businesses in the downtown" and as far as being late to work, one would assume that all the area businesses are well aware of what’s happening so when an employee is late due to traffic delays it’s excused.

I know it is where I work. My boss has to get to work just the same as I do. Some times you just have "to deal" It’s better than crashing into the White River some day! It’s not forever. Let the Town do their job and stop complaining.
