On Saturday, Oct. 6, COURTS Committee members celebrated the opening of the bright blue Randolph village tennis courts on School Street. The courts immediately attracted a goodly number of players.

Working with a a previously-received grant the COURTS committee raised the additional money needed to completely reconstruct the two old courts and the adjacent basketball court.

Lights should be installed this week, but the wiring may not be completed until spring of next year, according to Chuck Webb.

The Committee will continue to do fundraising for amenities such as court benches and a tennis backboard.
