Arley Holt, Jr. STOCKBRIDGE—Arley Holt, Jr., 65, died Sunday afternoon, Oct. 14, 2007 at his home. He was born July 17, 1942 in Parsons, W. Va.; the son of Arley and Ivy (Myers) Holt. He was raised in Baltimore, Md., and had lived in Mt. Airy, Md. until moving to Stockbridege in 2007. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married his wife, Carmen, in Baltimore in 1979. He had been a feeder driver for United Parcel Service for 19 years, until retiring in 2002. He loved animals and being outdoors. Survivors include his wife, Carmen, of Stockbridge; daughter, Kim Holt and her partner, Dottie Fitton, and their son, Darnell Fitton, all of Camp Hill, Penna.; four brothers: Harry Holt, Leon Holt, Virgil Holt, and Murl Holt; and a sister, Wanda Keefer, all of Baltimore, Md.; and a niece, Linda Crosswhite and her husband, Bob, of Portland, Ore. Memorial services will be held Friday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. at the Pittsfield Federated Church, with Rev. Gregory Homan officiating. There are no calling hours.
